Patio
So what's the difference between a Patio and a Terrace?
June House Project: The Patio
Style: Don't know yet. I do know I want my big purchase to be two good quality lounging chairs with separate foot rests. The foot rests can double as extra seating. It would be cool to have an air tight, heat resistant, non-electric, outdoor container that would always have a supply of marshmallows, gram crackers and chocolate, but that might be a total fantasy. I'll need a couple of small tables, which I think I have in the garage. The fire pit will stay of course. I want the space to be easy to use. Layout and read a book while Angelus plays in the yard or a night time s'more roast without hunting down sticks and ingredients. An inviting space to read, tell ghost stories, have a glass of wine or stare at the stars.
One obstacle is that we currently have a wasp’s nest that we need to get rid off with out chemicals. Ideas?
Looking for design ideas at the library, Tivo'ed a few home improvement shows that focus on patios and of course rummage sales.
Need to stock up on firewood from dad.
Got some cleaning and weeding to do.
Add some long blooming, low maintenance flower pots. My moonflowers are coming in too right along the fence and patio. They will hopefully be an awesome addition. Maybe that will be my theme..The moon... really turn the area into a moon garden. humm maybe
